I’m chatting with my sister and yawning and breathing and typing all at the same time. Multi tasking me.
It’s a gorgeous day and I’m feeling great despite the work. Just now, someone rang the door bell. A Polish guy with a huge bag filled with his sketches. They were absolutely beautiful!!! He couldn’t speak English (I assume) and gave a piece of paper and written there were these words:
I am a Polish student and these are my art work. Please buy one from me as I need the money for my studies. Each one is EUR… thank you and God bless
Who could resist such lovely hand drawn sketches? Not me. I don’t mind if he was for real or not (he seemed nice enough). There were magnificent horses, the Alps, somewhere by the canal in Venice (i think), children, kittens… I found it hard to choose. He waited patiently by the door. After some deliberating, I picked the one up there *sigh*
He did say a heavily accented thank you.

On the way to the CSI, a woman carrying her grandchild smiled and greeted me. we talked for a while. she seemed like she knew me and looked so happy. It turned out that she’ll have another grandchild in the near future. The kid’s so cute. I found out that she’s actually one of the librarians here. Just shows how seldom I go to borrow books.
I walked home, up the hill. the dewdrops looked like tiny diamonds nestled in the green grass. It’s warm and the sky is blue. Yes, I’m happy. And this is a sappy entry.
